This is one of my favorite simple low carb dinner options. From start to finish it will be on the table in 30 minutes and only one pan will be needed, just talk! I think cabbage is an underused ingredient. I've always loved cabbage rolls. And my all-time favorite cabbage soup because they are robust, inexpensive meals that go a long way.

This Keto One Pan Cabbage Casserole is a low carb, simple dinner ready in 30 minutes! The perfect simple keto dinner! Under 9 net carbohydrates per serving!


Ingredients

• 1 pound minced or turkey, browned and drained

• 1 small onion, diced

• 1/2 head cabbage chopped into medium pieces (approx. 3 cups)

• 1 (10 ounce) Can tomatoes with green chillies (undrained)

• 1 can of tomato sauce

• 1 teaspoon chilli powder

• 1 teaspoon garlic powder

• Salt and pepper to taste

• 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Colby Jack is our favourite)

 

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized frying pan, brown your beef or turkey over a medium heat, draining any fat.
  • Add the diced onion and fry for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add cabbage, tomatoes with green chilli, tomato sauce, spices and stir well.
  • Cover and reduce the heat to medium cooking for 15-18 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Top with cheese!
